Summer Dance Camp - Full Days: Ages 4-6

Join us from July 12th-14th for three days full of dancing, fun activities, games, visual art, and musicality from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. Dahling Productions Dance Camp is for ages 4-6 and will include learning different styles of dance such as jazz + ballet.

About the event

Dance Camp Tentative Schedule: 

These are some examples of activities that we will be doing each day and may change slightly each day.

All classes will be taught by Miss Shalyn.

9:00 am - 10:00 am : Move and Stretch- we will be using imaginative play to warm up our bodies and get moving for the day.

10:00 am - 10:15 am : Snack break - please send a healthy snack from home as snacks are not provided.

10:15 am - 11:00 am : Creative games that will involve acting, improv/performance, physical activity, and teamwork.  

11:00 am - 12:00 pm : Ballet based class - Technique class where the first half will be spent learning new exercises in a fun and engaging way. The second half of class will be spent learning a fun routine.

12:00 pm - 12:30 pm: Lunch - please send a lunch from home.

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Spend time outside on the playground or playing interactive games.

1:00 pm - 1:45 pm: Visual Arts- We will be doing one activity over the course of 3 days as there are different parts to it that will take time. At the end of the 3 days they will be able to bring home their project. *Please send a paintshirt with your child*

1:45 pm - 2:00 pm: Snack break- please send a snack from home. 

2:00 pm - 2:45 pm: Musicality- We will sing songs and learn about different kinds of rhythms and the importance they have in dance. We will be learning and singing a song that will be recorded at the end of the 3 days. 

2:45 pm - 3:30 pm: Jazz based class - High energy class where the first half will be spent learning new exercises. The second half of class will be spent learning a fun routine.
